On September 19, 2018, Acting Minister of Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) Nguyen Manh Hung had a working session with MobiFone on the company’s production and business in the first 8 months of 2018, and also its proposals to senior Leaders as well as its targets and tasks for the next period.


The session was attended by Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung – Acting MIC Minister, Mr. Pham Hong Hai – MIC Vice Minister, and together with leaders of departments and units under the Ministry. And MobiFone was presented by Board Members, Board of Directors, Department Heads, and key staff of its affiliated units.


Opening the working session, MobiFone's leaders reported to MIC delegate about the overall situation at MobiFone, its achievements over the first eight months of 2018, its difficulties and obstacles, as well as suggestions and proposals.


Acting Minister Nguyen Manh Hung said that MobiFone did not need to go anywhere else but to go back to its roots. In particular, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung pointed out three strong points to create the "original genes" of MobiFone, including: Enthusiasm, Professionalism and Efficiency. These are the three factors that distinguish MobiFone from other operators, showing that MobiFone's core mission is to deliver customers satisfaction.


Along with that, saving is also an important factor that the Minister emphasized MobiFone to pay attention to. The company was established facing many difficulties of a poor Vietnamese society and hardships while trying to build up the company financial foundation from scratch. In early difficult times, the company had to cut down costs and spend carefully, yet growing stronger, MobiFone seems to forget its roots, then once again falls back into difficulty. MobiFone needs to find back all its roots and nurture them to achieve the ultimate goal of gaining customer satisfaction and trust.


Listening to MIC’s heartfelt comments, MobiFone’s Board Chairman, Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang confirmed: “MobiFone needs to try many things and we also have the advantages to make new achievements. We will give our best dedication, professionalism and efficiency. And we also want to revive our culture and core values of the past 25 years”.
