Introduction

Call Forward (calldivert) is a service that enables MobiFone subscribers to forward the incoming call to another subscription number (fixed or mobile) or to voice mailbox.

 


Features

Situations for call forward:

• Forward all incoming calls.
• Forward calls when the phone is busy.
• Forward the call when there is no answer (three ringing periods = 15s).
• Forward the call when communication is not available (the subscriber turns off the phone).
• Forward the call when communication is not available (the subscriber is out of coverage or the PIN is drawn out when the phone is active).

All MobiFone Subscribers with active communication for two ways.


Tariff

1. Charge for call forward when the subscriber is in Vietnam 

    a) Forward calls to the Voice Mailbox: Free of charge for forwarding calls to voice mailbox in accordance with current regulation.

    b) Forward calls to an indegious subscription number (mobile, fixed, etc). Fee of call is divided into two parts:

The initial part (From the caller A to the call diverting subscriber B): Charge for the call is counted to the caller A as with normal calls from caller A to the call forwarding subscriber B with calling time equal to that between subscriber A and the call receiving subscriber C.

The forwarding part (From the call diverting subscriber B to the receiving subscriber C): Fee of call is calculated as follows:

o If the call receiving subscriber C is a prepaid/postpaid mobile subscriber of MobiFone, or a fixed, Gphone subscriber of VNPT: free of charge.

o If the call receiving subscriber C is a mobile subscriber of other enterprises (mobile or fixed): charge is counted as with normal calls.

Note:

• Subscriber A: is a domestic or foreign mobile/fixed subscriber.

• Subscriber B (who uses call forward service): is a prepaid/postpaid subscriber (MobiGold) of MobiFone.

• Subscriber C (who receives the forwarded call): is all domestic mobile/fixed subscribers.

 

2. Charge for call forward when the subscriber is roaming oversas

When the subscriber roams overseas, the calling charge is indifferent between forwarding to voice mailbox or to a domestic subscriber.

  • Fee for receiving calls is in accordance with regulations of client network (if any).
  • Fee for making calls to the subscriber receiving the forwarded call (C) is in accordance with regulations on charging for international roaming for MobiFone subscribers.

Note:

  • Phone number is the number receiving the forwarded call. Phone number may be:
    • A domestic fixed, mobile number (dial allnumbers like making call to such subscription number).
    • Voice mailbox number: 940 or 980 when you want to forward the call to voice mailbox.
  • Not apply by dialing short demand when the subscriber roams internationally.
  • Not apply at the same time for MCA service and Call Forward service in case of unavailable communication. If you set call forward when communication is not available while using MCA service, then MCA service will be interrupted temporarily.

  • After going to the Call Forward section, you can select your desired forwarding situations.
  • Forward the call when there is no answer: if you forward the call by the phone functions then there are some types of phone allowing setting a period of time for ringing before forwarding the call.
