Call Barring is a service that helps you not receive incoming calls from one or different subscribers (fixed or mobile) in the Blacklist or just receive incoming calls from subscribers in the White list that you have registered, etc.

In which:

o    NUMER1, NUMBER2...are numbers that you need to add to or delete from the Black list or White list.

o    Numbers in Black list or White list may be domestic or international fixed or mobile numbers (intranet or internetwork).

o    Format of Vietnam's mobile number must be 10 or 11 number. For example: 0901234567, 01212345678 ...

o    Format of international numbers: International code + country code + provincial code (for fixed number) + network code + phone number. For example: 0084901234567 or +84901234567.

o    Total number of characters in the message requiring to Add or Delete the phone numbers that you want to Block/Receive should not exceed 160 characters. Each number is separate from the others by a comma (,) or a space ( ).

Using Blacklist:

After registering the service successfully, the system will automatically activate Blacklist function In other cases, to use Blacklist function, you need to follow:

o    Step 1: Switch Blacklist on, write BAT BL to 999

o    Step 2: Add phone number to Blacklist, write Them BL PhoneNumber to 999

o    Step 3: Check Blacklist, write XEM BL to 999

Using Whitelist:

After registering the service successfully, to use Whitelist function, just follow:

o    Step 1: Switch Whiteliston, write BAT WL to 999

o    Step 2: Add phone number to Whiteliston, write Them WL PhoneNumber to 999

o    Step 3: Check Whiteliston, write XEM WL to 999

1.     Via USSD: From mobile phone, you dial  *090*5*11*12#  and follow the instructions to register/cancel the service and perform other functions of the service.

2.     Via Website:

To register/cancel and use other functions of the service via Web Portal, please log in with Web Portal password before use.

In addition to functions when using the service via SMS and USSD, when using via WebPortal of MobiFone, you can set timeframe for using Call Barring.

Note: you can use Call Barring service via Web Portal MobiFone only when you have an account in Web Portal. If you do not have any account, please register at homepage Web Portal MobiFone

3.     Via Wapsite:

From mobile phone, access to wapsite http://wap.mobifone.vn, select Other services/Call Barring

Via wapsite, you can use following functions: Register/cancel the service; activate Blacklist, White list; add phone numbers to Black list, White list; set timeframe; select notice sentence when a subscriber in Black list calls.


Rules

1. Target users: All MobiFone subscribers who are operating with two directions. 

2.  Regulations on calls:

• When registering Call Barring service successfully, the system will automatically activate Blacklist function then you can receive calls from all subscribers.
• To block calls from undesired subscription numbers, just add such numbers to the Blacklist.
• When registering and activating Whitelist function, you can only receive calls from subscribers in the WL. Other subscribers will not be able to connect with your subscription numbers.
• At a time, you can only use one of the two functions Blacklist or Whitelist.

3.  Regulations on renewal:

Packages are renewed automatically at expiration if you do not cancel. After renewing the service successfully, the system will send notice SMS to subscribers. At the time of renewing:

• If fee is charged succesfully: you can continue using the service with the same fee period.
• If fee is not charged succesfully: the service will be cancelled. To continue using the service, you need to register again.

4. Service changing regulations:

   Change from prepaid to postpaid subscription and vice versa:

• For postpaid subscribers who are using Call Barring service changing to prepaid form: Call Barring service will be canceled and postpaid subscribers will still pay subscription fee of such period.
• For prepaid subscribers who are using Call Barring service changing to postpaid form: Call Barring service will be canceled and the charged subscription fee will not be refunded.
   Changing among forms of prepaid subscription: continue using the service.

5. Other regulations:

• Maximum quantity of subscription numbers in Black List and White List is 25 numbers.
When you use MCA service, incoming calls from subscribers in Blacklist will not be displayed as missed calls.
